Will love conquer all?

Nora and Patch thought their troubles were behind them. Hank is gone and they should be able to put his ugly vendetta to rest. But in Hank's absence, Nora has become the unwitting head of the Nephilim and must finish what Hank began. Which ultimately means destroying the fallen angels - destroying Patch.

Nora will never let that happen, so she and Patch make a plan: lead everyone to believe they have broken up, and work the system from the inside. Nora will convince the Nephilim that they are making a mistake in fighting the fallen angels, and Patch will find out everything he can from the opposing side. They will end this war before it can even begin.

But the best-laid plans often go awry. Nora is put through the paces in her new role and finds herself drawn to an addictive power she never anticipated.

As the battle lines are drawn, Nora and Patch must confront the differences that have always been between them and either choose to ignore them or let them destroy the love they have always fought for.

Angel Kick Ass Couple

Finale is the last book in the Hush, Hush Saga and begins almost immediately after Silence ends. Nora is thrust into the role of leader sooner than she expected. Nora tries to convince the Nephilim that it is to soon to go to war. However, the Nephilim do not trust her and insist that in Nora truly is their leader, she'll do what's best for her people. Go to war against the fallen angels. Nora is stuck between the proverbial rock and hard place. Either choice has dire consequences. If Nora refuses to go to war, she will break the oath she was forced to make to Hank, Nora and her mother will die. If Nora goes to war she could lose Patch and have to face the archangels. Nora and Patch devise a plan with their most important objective clear, to find a way to stay together.

I love the fact that Nora is finally learning how to fight. Probably should have happened a couple of books ago, but hey, better late than never. The most surprising element in Finale was Vee. She started the series as one of the most abhorred characters and transformed into the perfect best friend.

Finale is well thought out and a solid story. If the entire series could have been written to this caliber the Hush, Hush Saga would have been epic. Finale is packed full of action, romance, and drama. It made me laugh, cry, then cry again because I was happy!

Favorite Quotes

"A guy doing what appears to be the walk of shame out my bedroom door? I'll be grounded for life!"

He looked amused. "For the record, I wouldn't be ashamed."
I personally believe Patch scared the pants off normal, and it took off running for the far side of the world.
"Compared to me, you're abysmally short. And your muscle tone is pathetic."

"Now that's flattery."
"You dress to impress," I said approvingly.

"No, Angel." He leaned in, his teeth softly grazing my ear. "I undress to impress."
"Don't you just hate it when your approval ratings are low?"

  1. The most shocking moment I absolutely DID NOT see coming involved a beloved character. I can't believe as many times as I have read this series I didn't see this coming! To some it might not be a surprise but to me it was and THAT gave to story a whole new punch!
